Hi! I’m Alice, the human behind the sewing machine and Duo Dogwear.
I’ve been sewing since my foot could reach the pedal, thanks to my dad, who filled our garage with industrial machines from his previous venture. After moving to Melbourne at the beginning of 2023, I found myself creating pieces for my rescue greyhound Summer, and her brother Arnold, who refuses to be left out.
In winter 2025, after plenty of compliments at the dog park and people asking where they could get one, Duo Dogwear was born.
What started as making jumpers that actually fit has grown into a small, handmade brand focused on comfort, individuality, and the perfect fit - especially for our long, lean houndies and unique rescue pups.
Every piece is thoughtfully made with love, because our dogs deserve to feel as good as they look.

These two quirky pups are the reason Duo Dogwear exists. When nothing in the shops fit them properly, or looked good enough for their fabulous personalities, their human took action.
Together, they’re the OG models, quality‑control supervisors, and daily inspiration for everything we make at Duo Dogwear. Every stitch and seam is tested and approved by this dynamic duo, so you know it’s pup‑perfect.
